Video Generator (a working title — the product's final name has not yet been decided) is a service that generates AI video content and helps you publish it to a YouTube channel that you yourself own and control. This policy explains what YouTube data we access, why we access it, how it is stored, and how you can revoke access at any time. Contact us at support@ai4everyone.in with any question about it.
Information we access via the YouTube Data API
We access your YouTube data exclusively through the official YouTube Data API,
and only for the channel you explicitly connect. When you connect a channel, we request three
scopes: youtube.upload, youtube.readonly, and
youtube.force-ssl. Specifically, we access:
- Channel information — via the API's
channels.listmethod: your channel's ID, title and handle, so the app knows which channel it is working with. - Video upload capability — via
videos.insert: the ability to upload a video file to your channel on your behalf, always after you have approved that specific video. - Publication status — via
videos.listandvideos.update: to check whether a video you approved has finished processing on YouTube's side and to keep its status current in the app.
We do not request, and cannot access, your subscriptions, your watch history, comments, analytics, other people's channels, or any Google data outside what these scopes grant.
Why we access your YouTube data
The only reason we access this data is to publish videos that you generated using this product to the YouTube channel that you yourself own. We do not use your channel data for advertising, for building profiles about you, for training unrelated models, or for any purpose other than operating the publishing feature you asked for.
Your approval is required for every upload
No video is ever uploaded automatically. A publication only moves from a draft into the upload queue when you take a deliberate, explicit action in the app to approve that specific video — one approval authorizes exactly one upload, never a batch. We also enforce a limit of 2 published videos per connected channel per day, to stay well inside YouTube's policies against automated, high-volume, or repetitive content; this limit cannot be raised from inside the product.
Synthetic media disclosure
Because the videos this product creates are AI-generated, uploads are disclosed to YouTube as
synthetic media (status.containsSyntheticMedia) by default, so that both YouTube and
viewers know the content was AI-generated or meaningfully altered.
How your data is stored
OAuth tokens — the credentials that let us act on your channel — are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before they are written to our database. The raw token is never stored in plain text and is never written to a log.
- Your refresh token is kept, encrypted, for as long as your channel connection stays active, so you are not asked to reconnect on every use.
- Your access token is short-lived, cached in encrypted form, and refreshed automatically using the refresh token.
- Cached channel details (title, handle) are refreshed at least once a day and are not kept any longer than needed to operate the connection.
- If you disconnect a channel or revoke access, we mark the stored grant as revoked and stop using it. Revoking access does not delete videos you have already published; those remain on YouTube, under your own control.
How to revoke access
You can revoke this product's access to your YouTube data at any time:
- Directly with Google (always available): visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, find this app, and remove its access. This immediately stops our stored tokens from working, independent of anything the product itself does.
- In the app: [OWNER TO COMPLETE: an in-app "disconnect channel" control is planned but is not yet available in the running product as of this policy's last-updated date. Until it ships, use the Google Account method above, which always works.]
Compliance with YouTube's and Google's policies
This product's use of the YouTube API Services is bound by, and complies with, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.
Video Generator's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Signing in is separate from connecting YouTube
Signing in to this product uses a separate Google Cloud project and requests only
openid, email and profile — it identifies you as a
user and never grants any YouTube access. YouTube access is requested only when, and if, you
separately choose to connect a channel.
Who operates this service
[OWNER TO COMPLETE: legal entity name, and, if required by applicable law, business registration number and postal address.]
[OWNER TO COMPLETE: the data protection law(s) this service is designed to comply with (for example GDPR or CCPA applicability), and a Data Protection Officer contact, once determined.]
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we access or how we use it, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, ask for your consent again.
